OrangeCycle Sets Sail: Recycling Comes to Ontario Marinas
Ryse Solutions is proud to announce the pilot program of a new recycling initiative aimed at tackling a long-standing environmental challenge: the proper disposal of 1lb propane cylinders used by recreational boaters.
These small cylinders are commonly used for onboard cooking, but until now, there have been limited options for safe and sustainable disposal. When tossed in the trash, they often aren’t properly de-gassed, posing safety risks and contributing to landfill waste.
Our new program currently being piloted at select marinas, offers boaters a convenient and eco-friendly solution. Simply drop off your empty cylinders at participating marinas, where they’ll be safely stored, collected, and processed for recycling. This initiative builds on the success of our Orange Cycle program with Ontario Parks | Parcs Ontario, and we’re excited to extend this service to the boating community!
